The Capsule Pharmacy Brand Identity
We relish the chance to challenge ‘unwritten rules’ when developing a new brand and we had that very opportunity with this project.
The owners had decided to step away from the Unichem brand umbrella and become a more personalised, boutique clinic to differentiate themselves from the generic, price-driven chain pharmacies.
It was important then that the new identity reflected this vision and it had to be markedly different from any other brand in the category.
The brand-mark is made up of two interlocking capsule shapes, referencing the new name, knowledge and connection. The addition of the ‘speech bubble’ form conveys communication and personalised service, which is what sets The Capsule apart. Then an expansive identity toolbox creates a unique and flexible brand system to work with, from script labels and stationery to signage, uniforms and web.
